
American fighters Erickson Lubin and Terrell Gausha, reported ready for their eliminatory and WBC Silver super welterweight clash, which they will hold tomorrow night at the Mohegan Sun Arena, in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Premier Boxing Champions event will be broadcast on pay television on Showtime.
Lubin, 24 (22-1, 16 KOs) comes from a four-fight winning streak since he was defeated by Jermall Charlo in 2017. Originally from Orlando Florida, he is coached by Kevin Cunningham and is looking for another title opportunity.
After an outstanding career as an ameteur, Lubin made his professional debut at the age of 18 in 2013. In 2016 he was named Prospect of the Year by ESPN and Ring Magazine.
For his part, Gausha (21-1-1, 10 KOs), 32, who participated in the 2012 London Olympics, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but currently resides in Encino, California, where he is trained by Manny Robles. In May 2019, he drew with Austin Trout and has not fought since.
Both warriors passed the official weigh-in, reporting ready to step into the ring tomorrow. Lubin tipped 153.8 pounds, while Gausha 153 pounds.
