
The World Boxing Council light flyweight champion, Lourdes “Little Lulú” Juárez will defend the green and gold title for the first time, against the talented Mirna “Diabla” Sánchez, this Friday, August 7, in a card that will take place at the Community Development Center of Querétaro, Mexico.
Juárez is an outstanding Mexican boxer who has achieved the world championship in two divisions. Her most recent achievement was the conquest of the world light flyweight title by defeating former champion Yesenia “Niña” Gómez.
Juárez has a record of 37-4, with 4 knockouts. She is a very experienced fighter and therefore is a clear favorite to win this Friday.
Mirna Sánchez has a professional record of 8-1-1. At 25 years old, he has shown a strong dedication and motivation to compete for a world title.
At the official weigh-in on Thursday, Juárez Trejo weighed in at 106.3 pounds, while his opponent weighed in at 107.6 pounds, both nicely and neatly below the minimum category stipulation of 108 pounds.
The fight is organized by Latin KO Promotions and will be televised by TUDN Mexico.
