The WBC mourns the death of Lorenzo López

The World Boxing Council and its President  Mauricio Sulaimán, are greatly saddened by the  death of coach Lorenzo López.

Lorenzo was a boxer, announcer, and referee before becoming a boxing coach and manager.
López trained Antonio Pitalúa, Julio César Miranda, Adrián ‘Confesor Hernández, Cristian Mijares and Ana María Torres.

The entire WBC family prays to God to offer solace to Lorenzo’s family and many friends at this time of sorrow, ameliorated by wonderful memories,  of a man who lit up the world with his radiant smile.

Rest in peace Dear Lorenzo. We will remember You.
