
The World Boxing Super Series Super lightweight Final between American Regis Prograis (24-0, 20 KOs) and Scotsman Josh Taylor (15-0, 13 KOs) will be held at The O2 in London on Saturday 26 October, live at Sky Sports Box Office in the United Kingdom and DAZN to USA.
WBC Diamond Champion Regis ‘Rougarou’ Prograis has travelled to the United Kingdom after having fought quarter-finals and the semifinal in his home state, Louisiana. Scot Josh ‘The Tartan Tornado’ Taylor had his two preliminary bouts in Glasgow, and now he`s now going to: “The Old Smoke.”
Prograis and Taylor entered the WBSS in search of the Ali Trophy as the two best-seeded boxers in a Super lightweight group. The first classified Prograis won his place in the final by defeating Terry Flanagan on points last October, and then stopping Kiryl Relikh in six rounds.
Meanwhile, seeded No. 2 Taylor stopped Ryan Martin in round 7 last November, and then proceeded to win against Ivan Baranchyk by decision.
