The International Boxing Hall of Fame… a great tourist attraction

The International Boxing Hall of Fame was established in 1990, as part of an initiative by Ed Brophy to honor the greatest champions in boxing history.

The first Hall of Fame was in the offices of Madison Square Garden and now its facilities are located in Canastota, New York.

Ceremonies are held every year for boxers and personalities involved in this sport who become new members.

Israel Martínez and his family recently traveled by car from Mexico City to Canastota to visit the Hall of Fame.

This is a trip that they have been taking for three years in a row, as they are huge boxing fans.
