The eleventh National Convention of Mexico´s Federation Boxing Commissions (FECOMBOX), was in Culiacán, Sinaloa, and was such a success
From July 12 to July 14, athletes, managers, coaches and leaders of boxing commissions from different parts of the country United to determine and improve amateur as well as professional boxing.
There was the FECOMBOX chief, plus former world boxing champions. The Mayor of Culiacan, Jesus Estrada Ferreiro, said: ” It’s a great honor that Culiacán serves as the venue for this important event attended by visitors from other states of the Republic, since it allows us to show the attractions of the capital and the warmth of its people. ”
On behalf of the World Boxing Council, Carlos González Hinojosa, thanked all the support provided by the municipal authorities for the convention in Culiacan.
Rodolfo Ramírez Flores, who’s President of the Fecombox, presented a replica of a boxing champion belt to Estrada Ferreiro, praising his commitment and willingness to support boxing.
The general director of the Municipal Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of the entity, Carlos Octavio Lara Cebreros, announced that the Major is greatly helping to develop boxing.
More than 50 delegates from 23 states of the Republic participated in this event. Important agreements we’re reached, which will strengthening Mexican boxing, concerning issues related to regulation, obligations of managers and boxers.
