Thanksgiving Day

Streets with the wafting scent of cinnamon and apple, a freshly baked turkey … a day to share with those who do not have much, and also being with family and friends.

This is a Day of Thanksgiving-a traditional celebration of the United States and Canada, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

The origins of this festival dates back to the seventeenth century, when the first settlers thanked God for a change of luck after the first few months of harsh difficulties in the “New World”, and, over time, became a tradition for Americans.

Today the WBC joins the celebration and wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Day!
