On October 13, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight title will be disputed between former light flyweight champion, Japanese Kenshiro Teraji and Nicaraguan Cristofer Rosales.
Teraji (23-1, 14 KO) won his first world title after only 10 fights, defeating Mexican Ganigan Lopez. He made eight successful defenses before falling surprisingly to Masamichi Yabuki.
Undaunted, in the rematch he defeated Yabuki without problems, reconquering the world crown.
Rosales (37-6, 22 KO) is an experienced former world champion who comes to this fight after defeating Francisco Gomez Sanchez.
Teraji is fully focused on accomplishing a grueling preparation for this important fight at the BMB gym, directed by his father Hisashi.
