On October 13, at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight title will be disputed between the former light flyweight champion, the Japanese Kenshiro Teraji and the Nicaraguan Cristofer Rosales.
Teraji (23-1, 14 KO) offered an open training to the media at the BMB gym, directed by his father Hisashi, showing that he is in excellent condition to debut in the flyweight division.
Kenshiro won his first world title in only 10 fights in his professional career, defeating the Mexican Ganigan Lopez.
He made eight successful defenses before falling surprisingly to Masamichi Yabuki.
Undaunted, in the rematch he defeated Yabuki without problems, reconquering the world crown.
