
World Boxing Council super lightweight champion, Scottish Josh Taylor (15-0, 12 KOs), defeated Belarusian Ivan Baranchyk (19-1, 12 KOs) by convincing UD in the second Semifinal of the World Boxing Super Series, at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Taylor was dominant in the fight, knocking down Baranchyk in the sixth round and again in the twelfth.
The Judges’ score cards were 117-109, 115-111 and 115-111, all in favor of Taylor, who handily and impressively advances to the final of the successful World Boxing Super Series tournament.
After the victory, the other finalist, Regis Prograis, went up to the ring to face Taylor, with whom he will clash in search of the Muhammad Ali Trophy.
