High flyer Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada says one hundred percent fitness will shape his rematch victory over WBC super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on Friday, April 26.
Estrada and Rungvisai fought one of the best fights at the famous fight fiesta forum in February last year, with the Thai star defeating “Gallo” to retain his WBC super flyweight title.
Estrada, was affected by a knee problem in that first encounter, but the Mexican is now promising to go “Won better.” The 28-year-old has got a brace of victories since the majority decision defeat against Rungvisai and, more importantly, he`s had a great training camp in Los Mochis.
“I have always said that there is a second chance and we have to take advantage of it,” Estrada said. “I was prepared 50 percent the last time, not because I did not want to train, but because I had some injuries that affected my preparation and we had no other choice but to fight like that. This rematch is an opportunity and we will make the most of it because we are well trained and the goal is to be a WBC world Champion. It doesn’t matter if it`s against Rungvisai or any other person.
“After he raised his hand, I knew there would be a rematch because it was an interesting fight for the fans and for us. I had to win two or three bouts to gain a rematch and my team and I made it happen.”
