Surprise, surprise Pablo Cesar Cano
Fresh from the biggest win of his career, over Jorge Linares, Pablo Cesar Cano, who successfully retained his World Boxing Council Silver International super lightweight crown, attended the WBC weekly press fiesta at the Rail Workers HQ in Mexico City, along with his Green and Gold Belt.
Living up to his derailing nickname: “El Demoledor” Pablo Cesar shunted “Nino de Oro” Linares in less than one round with a spectacular TKO, at Madison Square Garden on Friday. Keen to expend all that unused pent up energy, he then ran in the Sixth Jose Sulaiman Race of Champions, just two days later!
At twenty nine, yet the veteran of bouts against, Erik Morales, Sugar Shane Mosley, Paulie Malingnaggi, Maurico Herrera and Ashley Theopane, Pablo Cesar, who`s unmarked from his latest encounter, was sporting a huge grin and glasses at the Presser, but to shade his eyes from the bright Mexico City sun.
He`s now keen to take on undefeated WBC Absolute Champion Jose Carlos Ramirez, who has a February 10th defense against Jose Zepeda in the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California.
Things are looking brighter and brighter for hard hitting Pablo Cesar, who won the title against Ruslan Madiev last September, snapping a two loss streak. Pablo`s record is: thirty two wins, including twenty two KO`s, seven losses, one draw and one no contest. More surprises to come!
