Sulaiman and Suleimen

Suleimen Promotions thinks the world of the Sulaiman Family and the World Boxing Council, so much so, that they travelled all the way from Kazakhstan to be part of the seventh Jose Sulaiman Race of Champions.

The team is: Ibragim Akdrashov,  Kalikhan Akdrashov,  Tanat Nurshin and Yerlan Kossaibayov.

The company was founded to honor the memory of Kalikhan`s late brother Suleimen, who passed away two years ago. They already have two pro boxers on their books and are most interested in three amateurs who’ll be competing in the Tokyo Olympics. They will then turn pro with the company.

Kalikhan said: “We met Mr Mauricio at the WBC Convention in Cancun. We introduced our company, became good friends and he was amazed at the name of our company.  He officially invited us to participate in this race. And here we are, because loyalty is always in first place. The distance of our journey from Kazakhstan doesn’t mean anything.”

Kalikhan stressed the tremendous significance of Gennady Golovkin to boxing in Kazakhstan explaining: “Gennady has a very special place in our country and respects him, because he is the first guy who opened the door for professional boxing for us.”

This very special promotions company was started to honor Suleimen`s memory and his love of boxing.  Kalikhan said of his brother, who although only twenty four, but was already an award winning businessman: “We are inspired by him, as everything he started rose to top level.”

Suleimen Promotions is donating five thousand dollars which will be the prize for a life experience contest soon to be arranged and held.
