Successful Seminar of Ring Officers in Dubai

Tijuana based Representative of the World Boxing Council, Juan Carlos Pelayo, offered a seminar for ring officers in Dubai, for more than 40 Ring officers of different nationalities, including the Philippines, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Romania, United Arab Emirates , United Kingdom and Kenya.

During the seminar various topics were addressed with the main purpose of preparing them to work as Ring Officers in cards to take place in the Arab Emirates and other areas of the Middle East, carrying as a gold standard the rules and criteria of the WBC.

Among some topics that were addressed were: The code of ethics, basic functions of the judges, correct use of bandages on fists, procedures to carry out a better performance, review of rounds and fights with controversial scores, among an array of topics.
