Successful Ring Officials Seminar in Zimbabwe

At Victoria falls, Zimbabwe, a comprehensive and excellent seminar for Ring Officials of the African Boxing Union and the World Boxing Council, which was opened by Dr. Benson Dube, Director General of Sport in Zimbabwe.

Prominent and experienced members of the WBC, Daniel Van de Wiele and Kevin Noone oversaw the seminar for more than 70 Judges and Referees from different African countries.
During the seminar various topics under review whose purpose is to prepare local ring officials to work carrying out the WBC rules and criteria as the gold standard.

On the Agenda: The code of ethics, basic functions of Judges, correct use of hand wraps in boxers, procedures to carry out a better performance, review of rounds and fights with controversial scoring, among other topics.
