States continue to join the National Boxing Class

The National Boxing Class is getting closer and closer and the states and municipalities of the Republic are joining to break the record of the largest boxing class of all time.

Nuevo Laredo is one of the municipalities that will join. Salomón Valencia, Municipal Director of Sports, invited the people of Nuevo Laredo to join the class.

“It is approximately a two hour duration all the activity, it is to motivate our children and young people who are practicing some sports discipline, some physical activity with the idea of moving them away from these antisocial behaviors, from addictions, but above all from the threat of fentanyl.”

Regino Castillo, Nelson Cuevas and Gerardo Moreno will be the instructors in this municipality.

On the other hand, Clara Brugada, Chief of Government of Mexico City took advantage of the last rehearsal of the National Class to encourage the population to participate in the class.

“We can all be present to fill the Zocalo square with a national level sporting event and accompanied by our president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and with the boxers and athletes.”

Also present at the event was Miguel Torruco, who pointed out that it is fundamental to instill sports in young people. He also reiterated the invitation.

“Good luck! See you next April 6, Sunday, at 8:00 a.m. in the Zócalo; we will be there, Oscar de la Olla, ‘Manos de Piedra’ Durán, ‘Chiquita’ González, Marco Antonio Barrera, ‘Barby’ Juárez, many world champions”.
