Spanish boxers dig in to show solidarity

A meteorological phenomenon recently occurred that caused torrential rains, caused massive flooding and tragically cost lives in south eastern Spain.

The rainfall, which was accompanied by strong winds and tornadoes, was caused by a weather pattern known as Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA).

The area of ​​the Spanish Levante was one of the worst affected regions with more than 200 deaths and dozens of missing.

The solidarity of the Spanish people is boundless and boxing is no exception.
The Spanish fighters Sandor Martin, Valery, Orozco, Madueño, Laura Pequeño, Sissoko, among others, have dedicated time, money and effort to support those who need it most.

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, are deeply saddened the events that occurred and send their deepest condolences to the Spanish people and reiterate support during these difficult times.
