
In honor of Black History Month and our many years of commitment to the Eagle Academy Foundation, WBC Cares Chair, Jill Diamond attended the Eagle Academy Foundation’s 20th Year Gala, “Taking Flight.”
This was a beautiful event at the Ziegfield Theater, highlighting 100 Black Men , an organization that promises excellence and mentoring to all young men of color.
The WBC also donated funds and a beautiful replica belt to their auction.
Attending were many top New York políticians and a special award was given to Paul T. Williams, jr of the Ntozake Shante Trust, President of 100 Black Men, Inc. and known philanthropist.
Eagle Academy, has six chárter schools, a 95% graduation rate, and one of the few, grade school boxing programs in the USA. It’s estomated that they influence 50,000 young men across their campuses.
It was truly an unforgettable and inspiring event.
