World Boxing Council light flyweight champion Ken Shiro will defend his crown against tough Filipino fighter Randy Petalcorin, ranked 12 by the WBC.
The fight will take place in Yokohama, Japan, on December 23. Ken was originally scheduled to fight Felix Alvarado, who was laid low by bronchitis.
Petalcorin (31-3-1, 23 ko) has 5 consecutive victories and proven to be a warrior of distinction.
Ken says he is doing a great preparation because he wants to close the year with a victory flourish.
