Sheeraz and Torres will clash for WBC Silver title

Britain`s Hamzah Sheeraz will have an important silver commitment at the Copper Box Arena in the United Kingdom on July 16th, in a fight for the vacant WBC Silver middleweight title, which will be shown live on BT Sport.

Sheeraz, just 23, faces Argentina’s Francisco Emanuel Torres in what will be his second fight at 160 pounds following his second-round knockout victory over Jez Smith in March.

Sheeraz (15-0 11 KOs), who`s trained by Ricky Funez at the Ten Goose gym in Los Angeles, California, commented:

“It’s great to be back. I’m dedicated to my craft and giving 100%. I’ve had a great training camp in California. Boxing is about sacrifice at the end of the day and to be great you have to sacrifice a lot.”
