Seventh Jose Sulaiman Race of  champions …A MADRINA of an event!

The seventh Jose Sulaiman Race of Champions will be graced by A Dozen Godmothers, who have attained championship magic in the ring.

Former  world champions Jackie Nava, Ana María Torres, Yessica Chávez, Esmeralda Moreno, Zulina Muñoz, Irma García, as well as current WBC champions, Alejandra Jimenez, Mariana Juarez, Yessenia Gomez, Guadalupe Martinez and Yamileth Mercado. All of these  great boxing idols  have given fans magnificent and unforgettable moments in their glittering careers.

World Boxing Council President  Mauricio Sulaiman says this year`s race is dedicated to celebrating  the power and the glory of women`s boxing and its extraordinary progress. It`ll be run over  six- and twelve-kilometers in honor and everlasting memory of Don Jose Sulaiman, who was a major enabler of women`s boxing.

Oscar de la Hoya and Pepe Gomez  praised the WBC and the organizers in organizing an event combining sporting superstars and a host of runners.
