World Boxing Council featherweight champion Amanda Serrano form Puerto Rico, successfully defended her crown, by knocking out Argentine Daniela Bermúdez in nine rounds, in San Juan.
It was top of the bill in the Ring City USA series, combined with Cotto Promotions. Amanda showed speed, strength and power to dominate from the outset.
The end came in round nine when Amanda connected hard to Daniela’s body sending her to the canvas at 1:33.
Serrano improved her record to 40 wins, 30 of them by knockout, in exchange for a loss and a draw. While Bermúdez was left with 29 wins, 10 by knockout, four losses and three draws.
