This morning in the traditional “Coffee Tuesday” the alliance between the World Boxing Council and “Save the Dream” was presented, an organization created to help promote the positive values of sport among the youth of the world.
Massimiliano Montanari CEO of ICSS and Save the Dream was very happy to be able to work and implement various programs with the WBC, since the main objective for both organizations is to promote activities to empower young people through safe access to sport and educational as well as social values.
Diego Ares, Manager of the America of ICSS and Save the Dream, explained that this new alliance will serve to develop a variety of activities around the world, which will permit young people to benefit and learn from boxing, in addition to increasing their knowledge about sports, the values of sportsmanship, and learning to face challenges.
For Mauricio Sulaimán, joining “Save the Dream” is a real pleasure, as he recognized that together they can contribute significantly to youth, providing a safe, fair and inclusive sports environment, regardless of religion, race or creed.
He commented that in Las Vegas, he started one of the many projects they have planned together, which is the creation of a painting, where world champions chose their favorite shot and put their mark on a giant canvas.
This time 12 legends participated, and this painting will travel to the fight of Saúl Álvarez and Caleb Plant where more champions are expected to apply their brush strokes, to finally be able to auction this art masterpiece in a great event where all the proceeds will be directed to help children.
