At the Benito Juarez auditorium in the city of Veracruz, Mexico, local fighter Esneidy “Leona” Rodriguez will challenge World Boxing Council Atom Silver champion Sana Hazuki from Japan.
The fight, scheduled for September 7, promises to be a high-impact event that will attract boxing fans and tourists from all over.
Esneidy Rodriguez has built an impressive career since her debut in professional boxing.
“I’m very happy, I feel very motivated and more than ready to give my entire Veracruz public a great show in the ring. We’re going to win this WBC Silver title,” said Esneidy.
The Japanese champion, known for her impeccable technique and vast experience, is the current champion and does not plan to give up her title easily or otherwise. “I’m going for the knockout. I’m used to complicated fights and that motivates me even more to come out with my hand raised,” said Hazuki.
