Rungvisai and Estrada promise to fight…on the beaches

World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Srisaket Sr Rungvisai of Thailand will Rematch talented former Mexican champion Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada at the Forum in Inglewood on Friday. California.

In February of last year, Rungvisai defeated Estrada by a majority decision , following a very close fight that also took place at the  Forum in Inglewood.

After that victory, Rungvisai faced Korean Young Gil Bae, in a non-title match, knocking him out in the first round. He also won defeated Iran Diaz on points  and this Friday, he will fight to retain the belt he conquered by defeating  Nicaraguan Román “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, in March of 2017.

“I hope he really does what he says.  I hope he comes to throw more punches, because if that happens, it will be a great fight,” Rungvisai said during the public training held in Venice Beach. “I’m one hundred percent ready.

“The last time I did not think Estrada was so good, but now I know, I know he prepared very well and I prepared the best I can,” said the Thai, who curiously stayed some minutes to see the brief public training  of Estrada.

In the case of “Gallo” Estrada, since losing to Thai, he has won two victories against his compatriots Felipe Orucuta and Víctor Méndez, both in Los Angeles.

“I’m not going to leave any doubts in  this fight and I’m going to take the belt to Mexico,” said “Gallo” Estrada. “Rungvisai is a lefty and I think all fighters have some problems with southpaw boxers. So that’s why I trained with a lot of them.”

The fight is organized by Matchroom Boxing and will be broadcast by DAZN.
