Round 29, Christy Salters Martin, Women´s boxing pioneer

We start the week of #WBCTalk broadcastS, with Christy Salters Matin.

“The Coal Miner’s Daughter” told us about her history as a pioneer of women’s boxing, her biggest fights, involving opening cards prior to Julio César Chávez and Mike Tyson. Christy also talked about the horrors of domestic violence, that she suffered and how she was able to survive and overcome it, in order to inspire other women.
