WBC youth super featherweight champion Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez closed the lion’s share stage of his rugged preparation in the countdown to his debut in the United States.
“Rocky” Hernandez went to the Gymnasium of the Union of Railway Workers of the Mexican Republic and did eight rounds of sparring, stating he’s good and ready to travel to US territory heading to his fight this Saturday.
“I have just finished the toughest stage of my training, I now have to maintain myself at weight. I feel happy, with strength, condition and resistance to start a great adventure.
“We’ve already analyzed my rival. So we’re ready for whatever style he brings to the fight. His great virtue is his distance work. He’s not a puncher so I think I should take advantage of that, go forward and really punch. We’re determined to win. The sole goal is victory.”
