The super featherweight clash between Mexican Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez and Venezuelan Roger “The Kid” Gutierrez at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, has all the ingredients of snap, crackle and pop!
Rocky has notched slam dunk impressive knockout victories in the first round of nine fights, while Roger has achieved this grand slam in seven of his fights.
Eduardo, barely 21 years old, remains unbeaten in 28 combats, 25 of which he has won by knockout. He also has an impressive strike of 22 consecutive knockouts victories in his last performances. While 24-year-old Roger has 18 knockouts in 21 victories, with his last 10 victories by KO.
Hernandez makes his second consecutive fight in the United States, as part of the card that will be broadcast on Saturday. Topping the bill is Rey Vargas, who`s defending the absolute WBC super bantamweight belt against interim champion , Tomoki Kameda.
