World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has gifted five thousand pesos to boxers Eduardo Rizo and Jerson Aguilar, row following their triumphs last Friday at the Marbet Hall, in Neza, in a boxing evening presented by Humberto “Chiquita” González.
President of Green and Gold agreed with the boxers involved that the winners would receive some economic stimulus.
At the WBC’s traditional Coffee Tuesday, Press Director of the World Boxing Council, Victor Cota, on behalf of Mauricio Sulaimán, was in charge of presenting the money to the two boxers who were all smiles.
The victories of Eduardo Rizo and Jerson Aguilar, were against Alberto “Alacran” Ruiz and Andres “Pug” Periban, by way of knockout and unanimous decision, respectively.
Eduardo Rizo thanked the generosity of Mauricio Sulaiman, as well as the support of his promoter Humberto Gonzalez: “Now more training because we’re going to conquer the NABF belt,” said the former national featherweight champion.
The duel between Rizo and Aguilar will be a rematch, since not long ago both fighters faced each other. That time, Eduardo got the victory so we will be expecting a tough rematch.
