Britain’s Hamzah Sheeraz will defend his World Boxing Council Middleweight Silver belt when he takes on  River Wilson-Bent at the 02 Arena on November 26, broadcast live on BT Sport.

Undefeated Sheeraz (16-0, 12 KOs), 23, won his title by defeating Francisco Emanuel Torres by fifth-round knockout. He previously won the WBC international silver title defeating Jez Smith.

Wilson-Bent (13-1-1, 6) enjoyed a perfect run through the professional ranks until he faced Tyler Denny. Their first meeting in November last year ended in a draw on the scorecards after an epic battle for the British title, before Denny won a split decision rematch.

Promoter Frank Warren commented, “This is going to be a night of boxing! This is the kind of test Hamzah needs and I’m sure it’s going to be a competitive and entertaining fight.”
