World Boxing Council Bridgerweight champion Óscar Rivas, will face Lukasz Rózanski. on February 25 in the city of Rzeszów, Poland.
Rivas will seek to make the first defense of his bridger crown against a major rival in the boxing world. A few months ago the intention was for the fight to take place in Colombia, but this was not possible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoters.
Now the rescheduling of the fight was confirmed by the promoter Andrzej Wasilewski who commented through social networks that the World Boxing Council gave the go-ahead to carry out the fight.
Rivas became the first ever WBC Bridgerweight world champion. Oscar defeated Canadian Ryan Rozick by unanimous decision with scores of 116-111, 115-112 and 115-112. He will now be able to demonstrate again his boxing quality against Rózanski.
