Double WBC Youth Intercontinental champion, Alan David “Rey” Picasso (14-1-0, 5 ko’s), will face Mexican compatriot Jesús Adrián “Topito” Gómez (11-2-0, 8 ko’s), this Saturday February 13, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
“King” Picasso is a well schooled bright prospect , with precocious mastery, precise in his combinations and a very effective active defence. He will need to draw upon all of this, because “Topito” Gómez, in his most recent performance defeated the experienced Edgar Martínez on points.
To support this battle, there will be an 8-round international fight at super lightweight, between local fighter Pedro “Roca” Campa (31-1-1, 21 ko’s) and the experienced Venezuelan Carlos “Profeta” Cárdenas (26-17- 1, 16 ko’s) in which a power-on -power punch cascade, is expected to be wielded and delivered.
The card will take place behind closed doors in the Jardines del Pedregal Social Salon, strictly adhering to health protocols of the Hermosillo health authorities, the Sonora Boxing Commission and the World Boxing Council. The fight, which is promoted by Zanfer and 2M Promotions, will be broadcasted on Azteca 7.
