Rex Walker visits Dickie Cole

Vice President of the World Boxing Council Rex Walker paid a visit to former Texas Commissioner Dickie Cole, to the rehabilitation center where he is located in Dallas.

At the meeting along with his wife Joann, Rex and Dickie had the opportunity to talk about boxing and about the history of the WBC.

Dickie was President  of the Texas commission for more than 30 years, in addition to being President  of the NABF from 1993 to 1994. He met his wife Joann and married at the age 18. He has been a member of the WBC for many years and his son Laurence is following in his footsteps.

“Cole Insurance” (Dickie and Laurence) are responsible for providing all life insurance to the boxers who contest WBC titles, and they have done this for many years.

The WBC family sends warm  greetings to Dickie Cole and thanks to him for everything he has done for boxing during many years.
