Rematch suits Taylor and Persoon
World Boxing Council Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor of Ireland is ready to fight former champion Delfine Persoon From Belgium in a highly touted rematch in the UK.
Persoon and Taylor clashed in June of last year, at Madison Square Garden in New York. Taylor won a majority decision in ten rounds, in a close fight that was ranked as one of the best of the year.
Katie is undergoing a great training camp, as she is determined to leave no doubt that she is the best fighter. While Delfine is absolutely determined to vindicate herself.
Both warriors will face each other for the second time, on August 22 in Brentwood, England.
