Christian Mbilli and Maciej Sulecki will fight for the WBC interim super middleweight title on June 27 at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Canada.
Mbilli, 29, of France and Cameroon, has established himself as one of the best boxers in the world at 168 pounds.
“I’ve waited so long for this moment, I’ve worked so hard to get here, and there’s no way I’m leaving without the belt on June 27,” he commented. “I want to recognize my opponent’s courage in accepting this challenge. But once in the ring, he’ll have to face all the intensity and rage I’ve built up against those who refused to fight me.”
Sulecki, 35, who lost to Diego Pacheco in August 2024, said: “It won’t be an easy fight against Christian Mbilli, but I’ve never felt better. I’m in a great moment with my team, and everyone is doing their part. On June 27, I’ll make sure I make my mark with a statement in his hometown.”
