Prograis vs. Haney…can`t wait!!

Super Lightweight Champion of the World Boxing Council, Regis Prograis, will stake his title for the second time, when he fights Devin Haney, until recently Unified Lightweight Champion, in the main fight of a card this Saturday, at the Chase Center, the stadium of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, in San Francisco, California.

Haney, a resident of Henderson, Nevada, was born in San Francisco and grew up in Oakland before his father, Bill Haney, moved him to the Las Vegas area when he was just a teenager.

Haney, 24, will make his debut at the 140-pound super lightweight limit when the undefeated and undisputed lightweight champion takes on New Orleans fighter Prograis.

Prograis, 34, has fought at or around 140 pounds in most of his bouts since the robustsouthpaw made his professional debut in April 2012.

This Friday, both warriors showed that they are in tip top condition at the official weigh-in. Prograis registered 139 pounds, while Haney stopped was 140 pounds.

The fight is organized by Matchroom Boxing and will be broadcasted on DAZN.

El Campeón Superligero del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo, Regis Prograis, expondrá por segunda ocasión su título cuando enfrente al también estadounidense Devin Haney, hasta hace poco Campeón Unificado de peso ligero, en el combate estelar de una cartelera que se llevará a cabo este sábado, en el Chase Center, el estadio de los Golden State Warriors de la NBA, en San Francisco, California.

Haney, residente de Henderson, Nevada, nació en San Francisco y creció en Oakland antes de que su padre, Bill Haney, lo trasladara al área de Las Vegas cuando era apenas un adolescente.

Haney, de 24 años, hará su debut en el límite de peso superligero de 140 libras cuando el campeón invicto e indiscutido de peso ligero se enfrente a Prograis, nativo de Nueva Orleans.

Prograis, de 34 años, ha peleado en o cerca de las 140 libras en la mayotía de sus combates desde que el fuerte zurdo hizo su debut profesional en abril de 2012.

Este viernes ambos guerreros mostraron que se encuentran en excelentes condiciones en el pesaje oficial. Prograis registró 139 libras, mientras que Haney detuvo la báscula en 140 libras.

La pelea es organizada por Matchroom Boxing y será televisada por DAZN.
