The World Boxing Council lightweight champion, Belgian Delfine Persoon, aims to unify her crown against Olympic champion 2012, Irish Katie Taylor, in a highly fight to be held this Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The 34-year-old Persoon has a record of 43 wins with 18 knockouts and only one loss. She has been a WBC champion for five years, making nine successful defenses.
Taylor (13-0 6KOs), 32, won her first world title in just her seventh professional fight.
The cracker of a fight is part of the card topped by Anthony Joshua and Mexican American Andy Ruiz.
It`ll be the first time that Delfine fights outside Europe, so there is great expectation in both Belgium and Ireland.
