“People’s Champion” tournament of note 

At  the Municipal Gymnasium “La Bola” in Guamúchil, Sinaloa, Nazario Castro and Jesús López, defeated their rivals to reach the grand final of the “El Campeón del Pueblo Tournament,” endorsed by the World Box Council, which is held for the first time in Guamúchil, in order to honor the idol of Mexico, Pedro Infante.

Jesús López  managed to defeat Gerardo Martínez and then , the local  fighter Nazario Castro, provided a welcome surprise, and defeated Adalberto Moreno.

The two young Sinaloa fighters will clash at the Alberto Vega Chavez stadium on November 15, during the celebrations of the birth of Pedro Infante.
