
World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion Luis “Pantera” Nery (31-0, 24KOs), will face the North American Brandon Figueroa (21-0-1, 16KOs), on Saturday, May 15, at the Shrine Exposition Center, Los Angeles, California, in what will be the first defense of his title.
Nery is accomplishing a great training camp and is highly motivated to make the first defense of his prized Green and Gold Belt.
“Pantera” won his world crown on September 26 by defeating his compatriot Aarón Alameda by decision.
Figueroa, comes from defeating Damien Vázquez by knockout in 7 rounds also in September.
The card is promoted by Premier Boxing Champions and will be televised on Showtime.
