Oubaali vs. Warren for vacant WBC bantamweight title
Unbeaten Nordine Oubaali will face the hungry Rau’shee Warren for the vacant bantamweight title of the World Boxing Council, on January 19 in Las Vegas.
Will it be deja vu… or Waterloo for Frenchman Oubaali (14-0-KO11) who`s already defeated Warren (16-2-KO4) at the 2016 London Olympics, making this a fascinating progressive rematch.
Oubaali commented: “After several changes of date, we have finally secured this long-awaited fight against Warren. I`m looking to collect a second triumph. This is the fight of my life. The green and gold belt will travel back with me to my country.
“Nothing has been easy in this search for the world title, but we have always faced the challenges and now we are travelling to go the USA.”
This fight will be part of the card starring Manny Pacquiao Vs Adrien Broner and that will be broadcast live on Showtime.
