1984.- Mexican José Luis Ramírez won the WBC lightweight title by knocking out Puerto Rican Edwin Rosario in the fourth round, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1984.- At the Midtown Neighborhood Center in Kingston, New York, Mexican Juan Meza knocked out American Jaime Garza in the first round, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.

2001.- In Hansehalle, Luebeck, Germany, Cuban Juan Carlos Gómez defended his WBC cruise title by knocking out Italian Pietro Aurino in the sixth round.

2001.- Australian Kostya Tszyu defended his WBC super lightweight title by knocking out North American Zab Judah in the second round. The fight took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2007.- Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez defended his WBC super featherweight title by defeating North American Rocky Juarez by decision, in Tucson, Arizona.

2007.- British Joe Calzaghe won the WBC super middleweight title by defeating Dane Mikkel Kessler by decision. The fight took place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

2012.- In Sendai, Japan, local fighter Shinsuken Yamanaka knocked out Mexican Tomas Rojas in the seventh round. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was disputed.

2018.- In combat between Mexican warriors, Miguel Berchelt defended his WBC super featherweight title by knocking out Miguel Roman in the ninth round. The fight took place in El Paso, Texas.
