1979.- Puerto Rican Wilfredo Gómez knocked out Colombian Nestor Jimenez in 5 rounds, in New York. With this triumph Gómez retained the WBC bantamweight title.
1984.- Puerto Rican Carlos De Leon defended his WBC cruiserweight title by defeating American Tony Davis, in a fight held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
1984.- Tim Witherspoon conquered the WBC heavyweight title, defeating Greg Page by decision, in a match held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
1985.- In a fight between North Americans, Milton Mccrory defeated Pedro Vilella by decision at the Palais Omnisport in Paris, France. With this triumph Mccrory defended his WBC welterweight title.
1989.- Mexican Raul “Jibaro” Perez retained his WBC bantamweight title, defeating Argentine Lucio López, in a fight held in Los Angeles, California.
2019.- American Shawn Porter defeated the Cuban Yordenis Ugas by decision, in Carson, California. With this victory Shawn retained his WBC welterweight title.
