1970.- Panamanian Ismael Laguna conquered the WBC lightweight title by knocking out American Armando Ramos in 9 rounds, in a fight held in Los Angeles, California.

2007.- In one of the best fights of the year, Rafael Márquez knocked out Israel Vazquez in Carson, California, in the seventh round. With this triumph, Márquez conquered the WBC super bantamweight title.

2016.- Thai Wanheng Menayothin knocked out Japanese Go Odaira in 5 rounds in Chonburi, Thailand, defending his WBC Straw-weight title.

2018.- American Deontay Wilder defended his WBC heavyweight title by knocking out the Cuban Luis Ortiz in 10 rounds, in a fight held in Brooklyn, New York.
