1996.- South African Thulane Malinga conquered the WBC super middleweight title, defeating British Nigel Benn, in Newcastle, England.

2001.- Thai Pongsaklek Wonjongkam conquered the WBC flyweight title by defeating Filipino Malcolm Tunacao in Pichit, Thailand.

2012.- Filipino Sonny Boy Jaro knocked out Thai Pongsaklek Wonjongkam in the sixth round in Chonburi, Thailand. With this triumph, Jaro won the WBC Flyweight title.

2017.- Japanese Shinsuke Yamanaka retained his WBC bantamweight title by knocking out Mexican Carlos Carlson in the seventh round in Tokyo, Japan.
