1980.- British Alan Minter won the WBC middle title, defeating Italian Vito Antuofermo, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

1991.- Korean Sungkil Moon defeated Ghanaian Nana Konadu by knockout in 4 rounds, in Zaragoza, Spain. With this victory Moon defended his WBC super flyweight title.

1992.- Mexican Ricardo “Finito” López defended his WBC straw-weight title by defeating Filipino Pretty Boy Lucas by decision, in a fight held in Mexico City.

1996.- In a match held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mike Tyson knocked out Frank Bruno in the third round. With this victory he conquered the WBC heavyweight title.

1996.- Keith Holmes conquered the WBC middleweight title by knocking out Quincy Taylor in 9 rounds, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

1996.- Mexican Ricardo “Finito” Lopez -knocked out Filipino Ala Villamor in 8 rounds, in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this win, Ricardo defended his WBC straw-weight title.
