1975.- The legendary Muhammad Ali defended his WBC heavyweight title by defeating Joe Bugner by decision. The match took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

1976.- Puerto Rican Alfredo Escalera defeated Japanese Shiniji Yamabe by decision in Tokyo, Japan. In this fight the WBC super featherweight title was at stake.

1979.- Italian Vito Antuofermo won the WBC middleweight title by defeating Argentine Hugo Corro in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

2006.- Thai legend Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, defended his WBC flyweight title by defeating Mexican Everardo Morales, in Bangkok, Thailand.
