1984.- At the Coliseum Arena in Oakland, Puerto Rican Carlos De León defeated Nigerian Bashiru Ali by decision, defending his WBC cruiserweight title.

1990.- Mexican Marcos Villasana was crowned WBC featherweight champion by knocking out the British Paul Hodkinson in 8 rounds in Manchester, England.

2015.- Thai Wanheng Menayothin defended his WBC straw title by knocking out Filipino Jerry Tomogdan in 9 rounds. The match took place in Ramintra, Bangkok, Thailand.
