2006.- The Mexican Jorge “Travieso” Arce defeated the Nicaraguan Adonis Rivas by knockout in the seventh round, defending his interim WBC flyweight title, in the Plaza de Toros in Cancun.
2006.- German Markus Beyer defended his WBC super middleweight title, defeating Italian Alberto Colajanni by knockout in 12 rounds, in a fight held in Berlin, Germany.
2017.- American Mikey Garcia conquered the WBC lightweight title, knocking out the previously undefeated Dejan Zlaticanin of Montenegro in 3 rounds. The match took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
2017.- In one of the best fights of the year, Mexican Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt defeated his compatriot Francisco “Bandido” Vargas in 11 rounds, in Indio, California. With this victory, Berchelt was crowned WBC super featherweight champion.
