1978.- Puerto Rican Wilfredo Gomez defended his WBC super-bantamweight title by defeating Japan`s Royal Kobayashi in three rounds, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Kitakyushu, Japan.

1991.- British Dennis Andries defeated the Australian Guy Waters by wide decision, at the Memorial Drive Tennis Center in Adelaide, Australia. With this win Andries defended his WBC light heavyweight title.

2008.-  American Roy Jones Jr defeated Puerto Rican Felix “Tito” Trinidad by unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden in New York. This was Trinidad’s last bout.

2019.- French Nordine Oubaali was crowned WBC bantamweight champion, by defeating the North American Rau’shee Warren by decision, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
