Joe Frazier stopped Terry Daniels in four rounds to retain his undisputed heavyweight crown.
Frazier, in his first defense since defeating Muhammad Ali 10 months earlier in the “Fight of the Century,” floored the challenger five times to extend his record to 28-0 (24KOs).
A year later, Frazier’s reign ended in a staggering upset when he was sent to the canvas six times in two rounds by George Foreman.
